Welcome to Box of Rain Designs, and thank you for supporting
independent artists! We put years of experience and lots of hard work into
what we do to ensure the quality and earth-friendliness of our products.
Each piece of clothing and every item is built to last, and is a
one-of-a-kind work of art.
We believe that hand crafting and art are important parts of culture, and by
supporting these methods and the artists that use them, we support the
creativity and artistic future of our culture.
We carry all kinds of handcrafted clothing, goods, tie-dyes, gift baskets,
accessories, jewelry, bath products, candles, housewares and more. We
generally work with hemp and natural fibers to ensure the kindness of our
items to your family and the earth.
All of our products are created by hand with lots of attention to detail and
positive vibes either here in our studio or by a small group of talented artists
and companies. These creations are inspired by nature, music, those we love,
the joy of life and hope for peace, and many are created exclusively for our
store. Our pages are filled with premade things, but since we also take
custom orders, much of our work is also
inspired by YOU!

All of our clothing, accessories and sewn housewares are durable and well
crafted with the use of Husqvarna/Viking sewing machines and sergers, with
all seams professionally finished. Fabrics are pre-washed to prevent
shrinking.
Beaded jewelry is crafted with the use of professional tools and supplies to
prevent breakage and ensure a long life. Hemp jewelry is knotted by hand
and made using high quality beads and findings. Glass pendants are
individually handcrafted be various glass artists.
Bath, beauty and herbal goods are created without the use of animal
products (or animal testing, with the exception of flea and tick soap, which
is "tested" by our own pets!) We use organically grown herbs and
botanicals and pure essential oils and pigments.
All other products, made using wood, glass and clays are crafted by
independent artists and small companies in small batches and are
one-of-a-kind as well.
